Our Mission
At Mandie's Safe Haven, our main purpose or mission is to provide emotional support, raise awareness, facilitate recovery, and empower survivors of sexual abuse. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can participate and learn to heal and grow. We do this by introducing alternative methods of therapy, story telling, and education by our life examples as well as others' who participate, so we invite you to share your story.
Vision
Our VISION is to create a safer world through education, inspiration and awareness, that we will lower the risk from the threat of sexual abuse/assault.
Audience
Our services are tailored to survivors of sexual abuse, advocates, families, and professionals in the field. We aim to offer resources, counseling, and a supportive community to all those in need.
Values
Compassion, trust, resilience, altruism, honesty and curiosity are the core values that guide us in our work at Mandie's Safe Haven. We believe in providing a caring and understanding space for individuals to embark on their journey towards self- healing and empowerment.
Education
We feel that by educating and teaching survivors how to be stronger and more resilient, that it benefits both of us. Showing you the pain that myself and others have endured, will hopefully motivate you to want to change. My goal is to enlighten you, and let you know that you are not alone. I hope that you will contact me so we can create a formidable plan that will benefit you.
I also want to stress that education is the future is fighting against sexual abuse and assault. We want the world to know that we will no longer stand idly by while these atrocities happen to our daughters, sisters, brothers, and mothers and fathers. We want the world to know our pain and suffering. We want to change the way the world perceives us.
