How does telling stories help my mental health?
Telling stories and offering insights creates a bond between reader and me your writer to understand that you are not alone and how to create a healing path to bettering ourselves. Story telling can relieve anxiety and boost self-esteem. Not to mention educational, and can be entertaining.
Do you charge a fee for submitting my story?
NO, there is no fee to submit your story. Submitting your story helps us connect to others who have suffered from Assualt and or Abuse.
Can I meet you in person for personal training?
Currently I am deeply involved in writing books, updating my site, and taking care of family. I hope in the future to travel around the country assisting agencies in promoting my story and how others can get help!
How did you overcome your mental health issues?
Honestly, I still have mental health issues, just not as severe as it used to be, once I created this site. Helping people help themselves serves a purpose :)
Do you handle Emergency cases?
I am not a Therapist or a Doctor or Counselor, so if there is an emrgency, please contact your local authorities.
How do I submit my story?
Best way is to email me and I will assist in editing your story and post exactly what you want.
Do you write books for others to publish?
This is a difficult question, I have been asked to help people write their stories, yet I have certain conditions and possibly accept your project. Email for more particulars if you want to create a book about your past.
Do you share exact names, places in other people's stories?
NO, I do not, without express written notice from all parties involved. In most case I use a PSEUDONYM to protect the people involved.
Do you accept donations?
How is my Privacy and Security Protected?
The information that you share is also protected by data privacy laws, for more information see our Privacy Policy. We do not Share or give any information to any third parties PERIOD. If you feel you are in danger, we recommend calling the authorities to get you somewhere safe.
How did you come up with the concept of Mandi Safe Haven?
I have been abused for 30 years and have a vast knowledge and understanding of how to break free of my predicament. Now I feel that because I have accomplished this, I want to help others do the same.
Do you charge people for implemnting a success/formidable plan?
No, we do not charge for any service we personally provide, we are here to educate and inspire people to get the help they need by creating their own success team.

What does LGBTQIA+ stand for?
L: Lesbian G: Gay B: Bisexual
T: Transgender Q: Queer or Questioning

The “LGBTQIA+” meaning of the letters represents different facets of our community. Each one stands for a gender or sexual identity, with the “+” at the end standing in for the many gender identities that aren’t included in this version of the acronym.

Can I sue for being sexually abused?
The short answer is YES, however there are usually a statue of limitation that vary by state and country that it happened in. The best bet if you have proof, and a solid case contact your local attorney and they will let you know if you have a valid claim. Also speed is of the essence, don;t wait to take action...if thats the course you feel is in your best interest.
Do you provide legal assistance / advice?
Not personally, but have provided sites / links to law firms that do. On my RESORCES page I recently added Herman Law firm and Take back the night for links to attornies that practice and fight for victims of sexual abuse and assault.
Is there a release form I sign for sharing my story?
Yes, we have a free specific release to publish your story in our blog. With that said, if we feel that your story may be used in a book, we will reach out to you to discuss future terms and remuneration if any.
Can I recommend a site to add to your resources page?
Absolutely, I recieve requests and feel if it benefits my readers, then I am more then happy to add them. So keep asking and I will do my best to accomodate.
I have an idea for a blog topic
I am more then happy to research and discuss different topics for blog posts. I believe it helps connect you and me. So absolutely if you have an idea use our contact us link or email me directly.
Can I quote or use a post for my discussion or website?
Absolutely, as long as you give credit to your source. If you have a podcast, we can discuss Q.A.
Can I use an Avatar, instead of my real pic?
Absolutely, if you have an image you want to use to portray yourself. By all means, as long as it is not of a famous real life person. I understand some people don't want others to know who you are. Also you can submit or have us create an AI image per your specifications.
