BEAUTY comes from the inside

"Beauty comes from the inside"

"is a phrase that refers to the idea that true beauty is a reflection of a person's inner qualities, rather than their physical appearance. Inner beauty is a combination of qualities like kindness, generosity, patience, and self-confidence. It's often discovered in the qualities that people love and respect about others, and it can take time to be fully appreciated." ~ quoted from Google AI

Beauty isn't being rich, healthy, pretty on the outside; it is about your kindness, generosity, demonstrating your vulnerability, and plain out give a damn about others.

When I was young, I thought being pretty, was what a girl was supposed to do, to attract a rich man and marry and live happily ever after, BS!!!

In today's world we have magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair, Men's GQ and others.

The truth is very few of us look like the models in these magazines. Yet millions of young adults feel that good looks is part of success. In 2023, the global beauty market's retail sales were $446 billion.

This why many women suffer from mental diseases, trying to live up to the ideal woman. "...the realities of beauty standards is part of the treatment of many mental health issues including body dysmorphia, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression." according to Amity Detroit Counseling.

Women need to understand that "true beauty" is not something you go to a gym or salon or some crazy fad diet. Unfortunately there are famous people, who get sucked into the craziness, that they have to look perfect at all times.

I do understand that we should look presentable, but not go overboard and try dangerous drugs, or chemicals that are unsafe to clear our skin.

Many of the illnesses that women have is by being feeling degraded, or that they are not slim enough,or their skin is not perfect enough...Just STOP! no one is perfect, and more people need to realize that WE all have our own faults

Let your children know that they are beautiful no matter their appearance is like. In order for us to change the world we need to start with one person at a time, and educate them that beauty runs deeper then skin deep.

I do admit beauty may open more doors for you, but in the end it will be your internal skill-set, that will triumph. So ignore those callous remarks and focus on loving who you are, in the long run you will enjoy a happier and more fulfilling life.

Prayers,

Mandie
