I Like Dreaming (Resolutions)
I chose the word resolutions because every year people make plans to achieve their goals and normally within days or weeks we give up. I am going to show you 3 steps to improve your resolutions, so they are not fantasies. but realized dreams.
Step 1 is to write down your dream on a napkin, notebook, or whatever you can get your hands on to remember your dream, and be as detailed as possible.
Step 2 Is create a vision board about your dream; gather as much information as you can, images descriptions and put in on a decorative cardboard and hang it somewhere in your home so you will see it frequently.
Step 3 Imagine that you already have that dream accomplished, whether it is a new car, a home, promotion, whatever you can imagine that ties into your dream.
Let's be honest, many times I am afraid of dreaming, because Every once in awhile I dream and cry in my sleep about the abuse I have suffered.
Now many dreams are truly fairy tales. For instance every couple of years, my husband has dream of flying like Superman, not with super strength or speed but he has told me his speed has increased as well as how high he can fly. His last dream he could fly for several hundred miles, at first it was just around the house, then his home town and slowly his flying has taken him over several states.
For him it is an recurring dream, every once in awhile he just lifts his arms up and away he goes. This last dream he told me he dreamt of showing others how to fly.
My husband is a dreamer, and is a very positive influence in my life. He showed me that I can dream and walked me through achieving my dreams. Although he hasn't shown me how to fly...yet. (LOL)
I feel and think his dreams of flying aren't necessarily about flying, but growing in determination, spiritually, as well as his inner strength in guiding me and others to fulfill our own dreams.
Many of us have dreams our ideas of what we want to accomplish with our lives. For instance my goal was to help one person recognize their worth and to still accomplish great things, even though they have been through the abuse and suffering that many people do.
Now that I realize stories, is a extremely powerful tool in overcoming many demons we face. I search for different stories that I feel will impact people in a positive way, knowing they are not alone and they can still make things out of their lives.
I asked Google "Do dreams come true?" Google AI responded "While some dreams may seem to come true, most experts agree that dreams do not actually predict the future and are more likely a reflection of your subconscious mind, meaning that if a dream appears to come true, it's usually due to coincidence, faulty memory, or unconscious connections to known information, rather than actual precognition; to make a dream a reality, you need to actively work towards achieving it in your waking life."
OK, so I bolded the last part of that quote, because I know dreams can come true.
So who is ready to FLY..ahem...err..make their dreams come true?
