Fighting the System (part 2)

"One way to change a system is to measure what matters, in addition to what is already being measured. Organizations often rely on predictable metrics, but sometimes they measure the wrong things. By highlighting what really matters, the "right stuff" may become the new rule." ~ Google AI search results

I wanted to share with you a different point of view that impacts us immediately. If you read part 1, I am not certain what came over me to write about that topic. Sometimes I let my mind wander and start writing about the first thing that pops in my head.

Many of us are small minded and worry about ourselves and our immediate family. Don't get me wrong I love my "messed up" family. I am sure many of you have them.

Sometimes you reach a point, and are tired of being bossed around. Being told what, when, and how to do something. Trust me I still have some minor issues I am working on.

Recently I was given advice from an attorney...(long story), she opened my eyes up about the law and what I can do to help protect myself.

Sometimes I speak with people whom I sometimes wish I could ignore. She told me that I could wear a "Spy Pen" if I ever wanted to record something for posterity, or legal matters. As long as I am aware of being recorded it is legal to record what is going on around you. The other party doesn't need to know they are being recorded.

Which would have helped me a few weeks ago in an uncomfortable situation with a psychiatrist. Sometimes people in a position of "power", abuse that right, and need to be called out on it. I discovered that this person has been reported before, but lack of evidence allows him to still practice.

I just want to be treated as an human, not humiliated. If you believe you may be in a position of being degraded, I would highly recommend finding a "solution", to avoid and confront these people.

After all confrontation is a part of life, how you perceive it depends on the outcome. There are times in our lives where we need to take a stand and say "NO More", to our oppressors.

There truly is a better place then allowing others to destroy your life. You just have to believe inside your heart and make the best of your talents.

It is all anyone can do to overcome the challenges life throws at us.

Today is Election Day, we'll see what happens soon enough.

Prayers,

Mandie
