You ARE more powerful then you think
The truth is, we all know that we have talents and abilities that we do not utilize. Most of us crave attention, or at least we feel that we should be recognized more for the work we have done.
Many of us feel that self-help books and lectures are a waste of time. To an extent you would be right. Believe it or not many books say the same thing, but the story is worded different by the experience of the author. Their goals may be similar and the advice they give is regurgitated in several different ways.
I have read many self-help books, and the story is different, but the underlying message is the same.
So why are we continuously bombarded by advertisements on miracle cures, and books that will change your life?
Easy, it's all about marketing. let me define that for you in my own words.
MARKETING - The process of taking a product or service from fruition to the end user, including packaging, retailers, distribution, to customer satisfaction. Basically it encompasses all aspects of a business, from the clothes they wear, to the way they process their bills and writing utensil, to displays and advertisements.
We all market ourselves naturally, by the friends we keep, to the stores we shop and products we use. We are either influencers or followers.
So let's get back to the title and the point I am trying to make. Business owners realize that in order to get their product or service known, they must understand marketing.
To gain abilities and power, or whatever you desire you must understand belief in yourself.
So how can I believe in myself?

What I needed to elaborate more on is how you think. By this if you grabbed a pen and paper, or even copied the article in a word document to review, it will show you how to multiply your abilities and get what you want out of your life.
The purpose of self-help books is to remind you, that you are valuable and able to change your life around and follow...no...achieve your dreams.
It's like going to church every Sunday, because of your belief in a higher power. If you would commit to 2 hours a week you would double your income, lose weight, overcome some of your bad habits...to numerous ideas, which are only limited by the way you see yourself, through your thoughts.
So let's discuss a very very powerful tool that marketers use to induce you. Advertising...wait...what? Yes I said advertising I am going to show you a tool to help you get what you want and change your life.
A VISION BOARD, and yes I have mentioned this once or twice before, some of you may have thought, yeah right. The fact is without belief in yourself, you will be a follower.
Some of you have heard about the book, "THE SECRET" after it came out, there were a dozen other book elaborating on the original book. Once again, marketing. Yes I bought the book when it first came out, due to all the hype on the internet.
It talks about the law of attraction. which basically means we subconsciously attract things in our lives that we want; by repetition of images via a...I know don't say it...Vision Board.
Your vision Board is like a personal advertisement that is advertised in your home 24/7 influencing you subconsciously into wanting to acquire things like a new home, new car, new job, etc.
It is basically the power of repetitive advertising you to influence your decisions, hence controlling your mind. If you decide to create a vision board of your own, I will post some of them on my site to motivate people to want to change their life around. If you have children, get them involved, they can either make one themselves or share yours, whatever you imagine you can achieve by the power of your thoughts.
