"Child abuse is one of the growing problems that appear in our society, some might even call it an epidemic with more than three million reports in the United States alone being made a year. Child abuse is when the caregiver of the child causes injury, emotional harm, risk of serious harm to the child, or even death. The many type of this child maltreatment includes emotional abuse, physical abuse, exploitation, sexual abuse, and child neglect. To put an end to the problem, we need to increase the awareness of child abuse. This novel was created provide all the information one would need to help stop the child abuse that goes on in our world."

Abomination is everywhere ~

"Armed men in Sudan have raped hundreds of children, including some as young as 1, the United Nations children’s agency said this week, as a catastrophic civil war nears its third year." Click on the image for the full story.

This what we are here for, to let the world we are appalled at what is going on in our world.  I would like to say I want justice for this tragic event. Deep down I want revenge. Imagine this being a child of yours and there is nothing you can do about it.

I recently hears about a one year old in my area, whose mother molested her, it makes me sick and angry! Of course I reported it, but still, where do people get off on hurting innocent children especially babies.

Our world is damaged, especially if we don't stand up and face it saying "NO MORE", this needs to stop!! I was abused before I turned 5 years old, and never want to see any child or adult abused and raped the way I was or worse.

If you feel that by re-posting or linking this to social media, I encourage you to do so. Let the world know that this is an abomination and you want them to know only we can change our future.

Every day, I think of how to encourage people to respond, report, and learn ways to heal from abuse. I go to courts, events, etc to let the world know; this needs to stop.

Even if you are terrified, you are not ALONE, I continuously scour the net to find ways to help you heal.  This is not just an issue in certain countries, this is a global issue that needs educating about alternatives and the damage that is done to our children.

Hearing about abuse, strikes a chord in me and turns me into...(I want to say a villain against those that abuse others)...but more like a vigilante against abuse. Honestly, not much of a superhero, but if I had a cape and could fight I probably would be a superhero. Needless to say I am just a person that cares deeply for those that have been abused and want to put a stop to it.

I'll be honest it isn't easy to write about such traumatic events, but knowing if I can reach one person to report, notify, or just pass along their story it makes all the difference in the world knowing that this cannot continue going on.

Prayers always,

Mandie
